The Emmy Kasbit Initiative

The Emmy Kasbit Initiative is a women empowerment platform. We are dedicated to eradicating poverty, cultural education and the enhancement of liberty – co founded by Emmanuel Okoro and his business partner Daniel Olurin.

We achieve these three elements through specially curated and dedicated programs for young girls and women in the local communities we collaborate and engage with.

MISSION

To educate, enhance, preserve and protect traditional artisanal techniques whilst empowering our stakeholders. To raise awareness on social justice.

VISION

Our vision is be an impact catalyst where human rights and sustainability are at the heart of our initiative. To build an unbiased platform for the marginalised artisans where we empower and elevate them on a global platform.

ETHOS

We are multidimensionally committed to becoming a platform where we look at the importance in integrating environmental and social considerations into all our work practices. We are dedicated to eradicating poverty in fashion, cultural education and the enhancement of liberty.

Founders Note

We imagine a gender equal world, a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

Slow, steady and ethical is winning the race as a growing community is celebrating quality over quantity.

We believe that through our daily actions and inactions, we can create a more sustainable future for people and our planet.

We believe that fashion can inspire, connect and lead to positive change. Exploring the beauty, transparency and ethics in fashion is essential. Collaboration is key to position sustainable and ethical fashion brands on top.
